FREE TRIAL

How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days of full access to the SERP Checker. The interface and features are identical to the paid version. Your rankings are updated daily and you can explore everything at your own pace. No credit card required – and the trial never converts to a paid plan automatically.
What's the difference between the trial and the full version?
The trial has a reduced number of daily queries. Each query checks Google up to the selected crawl depth – up to position 100.
What happens after the 7 days?
After 7 days, your trial access is deactivated. I'll reach out personally to ask if you'd like to continue. If you do, I'll set up your account for the plan of your choice and send you the first invoice.

USAGE

What does crawl depth mean?
Crawl depth defines how far down Google's results are checked for a given keyword. You can check up to position 10, 50, or 100. A shallower depth makes sense if you only care about the top positions. If you want the full picture, you can always check up to position 100.
How many keywords do I need for meaningful rank tracking?
It depends on your project or business. When starting with SEO, it's often best to focus on your most important search terms and track their progress reliably. A small, well-chosen set of keywords is often enough. You can adjust your focus and competitors at any time. Even the STARTER plan gives you a solid data foundation to build on.
How often are rankings updated?
Rankings are updated automatically every day at 6:00 AM. Your keywords and selected competitors are checked automatically.
How do I know when my rankings were last checked?
Every processed query gets a precise timestamp down to the second. No "Preparing", "Checking" or "Updating" – you always see exactly when each query was run.
Can I set up the tool myself?
Yes. You add your keywords, regions, and competitors directly in the dashboard. If you need help getting started, I'm happy to assist.
What does the D|M toggle do?
Google shows different positions for mobile and desktop. The toggle lets you switch between the two views.
Can I track a domain for both desktop and mobile?
Yes, easily. Just create two separate keywords – one for desktop and one for mobile.
Does it matter whether I use www or non-www?
Yes. Enter the domain exactly as it's configured on your website. www and non-www can be technically different variants.
Can I add more competitors?
Yes, no problem. Just add the competitor's domain as a separate keyword. The SERP Checker is fully configurable – you can choose which domains to compare for each individual query.

BILLING

When am I billed?
Always on the 1st of the month, in advance for the current month. If you start mid-month, the first period is billed on a pro-rated basis – you only pay for the remaining days until the end of the month.
What payment methods do you accept?
Billing is done by invoice (prepayment). We do not accept credit cards, PayPal, or direct debit.
How do I cancel?
The notice period is 4 weeks before the end of the month. Just reply to my email and let me know you'd like to cancel. You'll receive a written confirmation and know exactly when your access ends.

Where is my data stored?
All data required for the SERP Checker is processed and stored on servers in Germany. This includes your keywords, domains, regions, competitors, and the corresponding ranking data.
What data does the SERP Checker store?
The tool stores the keywords, domains, regions, and competitors you've added, along with the resulting ranking data. This also includes the exact processing timestamp for each query, which is stored and displayed in the dashboard.
